-50 grams puffed rice
-20 grams makhana
-10 grams puffed amaranth
-20 grams roasted chana
-50 grams sprouts
-1 small onion
-1 small tomato
-2 slices of raw mango
-1/4 cup pomegranate
-Sweet and spicy chutney (Refer sweet and spicy chutney)
-Salt as per taste
-Baked sev (Refer baked sev recipe)
Mix puffed rice, puffed amarnath and roasted chana together.
Dry roast makhana for 5 minutes and mix with the mixture above.
Add in sprouts, chopped cucumber, onion and tomato along with chutneys and salt as per taste.
Garnish with baked sev before serivng.
This recipe is a healthier version of bhel. Additon of puffed amaranth, roasted chana, makhana and sprouts adds on to the protein content and nutritive value of the recipe.
